What membership gives you
A one-time share purchase and an initial deposit is all it takes to get started.

Requirements to apply
- ✓Fill in a membership application form.
- ✓Pay a one-time membership fee of K2,000.
- ✓Commit to a monthly minimum contribution of K7,000 or more to shares.
- ✓Commit to a monthly minimum contribution of K2,000 or more to deposits.
- ✓Contribute K1,500 towards funeral cover.
- ✓Pay a monthly service fee of K900.
For institutions applying as a group: at least 10 individual members must be willing to join.

Membership is open to civil servants, teachers, small business owners, farmers, private sector employees, family members of existing members, retirees, and members of the general public who meet our basic eligibility requirements.
Joining costs a one-time membership fee of K2,000, plus a monthly minimum contribution of K7,000 to shares, K2,000 to deposits, K1,500 towards funeral cover, and a K900 monthly service fee.

Loan eligibility is based on your savings and share balance, so it depends on how much and how consistently you save after joining. Speak to a loans officer for guidance specific to your situation.
Yes — shares are refundable in full when a member formally exits the cooperative, subject to the standard exit process and settlement of any outstanding obligations.
As a member-owned cooperative, the fund is made up entirely of members' own savings and shares, governed democratically by the membership. Ask our team for details on our specific safeguards and oversight.
